Job description

Career driven inquires only:

We are looking for a caring, hard working individual who loves to learn new aspects of the optical field. This job requires an attention to detail and willingness to learn outside of the office. Compensation will be based on education and experience. Full time basis. Hours of operation include 10am-7pm Mondays, 9am-6pm Tues thru Thursday and 9am-4pm Fridays, weekdays only.

  • Review physician's prescriptions and orders based on medical charts
  • Provide honest but compassionate feedback about aesthetic choices in frames
  • Help manage inventory of frames to ensure optimum customer satisfaction and product variety
  • Ability to dispense, adjust and repair eyewear
  • Operate manual lensometer and other tools to achieve proper fittings for patients
  • Communicate with physician with questions or concerns about prescriptions and other eye-related issues
  • Educate patients on their corrective lens options and help them make a choice that fits their medical needs as well as lifestyle choices (sports, job or hobby)
  • Work within a team driven atmosphere
  • Ensure our patients have an outstanding eye care experience that exceeds their expectations
  • Work in all departments to fully understand the business
  • knowledge of EHR systems
